RAN Online is a classic massively multiplayer online (MMO) game developed by GameSamba that follows a school campus setting. In this game, you will get the chance to hone your abilities and skills at the university of your choice. Your powers will be used to fight against evil enemies from other dimensions.
Choose a class and fight
After a series of weird events, the world has been plagued by evil entities the came from other dimensions. In this game, you get to be one of the gifted students tasked to help cleanse the place from the unwelcome visitors. You will have to join any of the 3 rival universities and choose which class you will be joining. Some of those options are Swordsman, Brawler, Archer, and Mage. Each one, of course, has its own unique abilities and magic to display but I will leave you to discover that on your own for when you play the game. Once you have decided, you can now enjoy the game and slowly discover what else it has to offer.
You will see hooligans and gangsters strolling around the campus. They are pretty easy to beat and are good practice dummies for you until you improve and level up. Beating them up, however, can be repetitive and might bore you fast but there is no need to worry about that. The point of choosing and joining a school is so you can compete with students that belonging to the other 2 rival universities. Another option is to join clubs and form clans to complete quests as a group. Also, forming strong clans will give you rights to claim areas, make territories, and implement tax rates which can be collected for your club’s own profit.
Amazing visual effects
The graphics of the game does not fall short of being impressive, but you will truly get to enjoy its visuals once you are able to perform powerful spells. The outburst of light that floods your screen after your character does a power move is visually stunning. This also comes with the major improvements you have most likely done on your character at this point of the game. One of the things you will enjoy here is customizing your character by making it wear stylish combat clothes and weapons. The game is mostly blanketed over by a dull atmosphere, but it is why the bursts of colors from performing magic stands out brilliantly. Its urban school setting also makes it unique from other fantasy MMOs that usually follow a medieval theme.
Attacking and creating spells
The controls of the game may be a little confusing at first as there are assigned skills and movements for each button. It is very easy to get used to them after playing the game for long periods of time. Veteran MMO players would probably find it a piece of cake to memorize the controls of the game.

RAN Online really stands out for being set in a modern school setting rather than looking like it dates back to ancient times. The quests are challenging enough to keep you interested and will even motivate you to consider forming bonds with other players. It is a worthwhile game that is friendly even to beginners.
